anyone know how much mk5 locks cost as both mine are playing up and i think easiest way is two new door locks and keys any one know how much???????????

some do, some dont - our local place does especially on newer cars

Rebuilt locks at your local locksmith, about £15... I've had to get several done including the ignition lock which was fun to drive without.

i went to tc harrison and he said a complete set will cost no more than £73 inc vat

thats 2 door locks

ignition barrel

boot lock

and petrol cap barrel

2 keys

i thought that wasnt to bad

Thats cheap btw make sure you get the right door lox, ie with or without the tab for the central locking

lol its cheaper to get new locks from ford then it is to get two new keys cut cos one of mine only opens one dorr and the other doesnt open the boot anymore
