MILLSYS GTi Posted March 11, 2003 Share Posted March 11, 2003 On a zetec Escort the cambelt interval is 5 years or 80'000 miles, whichever is first, the reason why it is so expensive is because Fords have recognised that when a cambelt fails it is down to the pulleys/tensioners, so when you have your belt changed you now get a cambelt kit which consists of belt, large top pulley and the two small lower pulleys, the kit itself is only £72.05 + vat, but it is a labour intensive job part no . 1112530 £72.05 + vat CheersMillsy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
