yeah basicly if the belt snaps it throws the valves out of sink which causes them to hit the piston tops. on the zetec the tensioner pulley has to be changed due to them becoming brittle. there is also a spec tool that ford use to hold the pulleys in line with each other. i'd use someone else instead of ford, as al said any compitant mech can carry this job out.
