Idling problem

step1 clean out your idle control valve with carb cleaner

step 2 remove bracket from throttle body locate allen key adjustment screw

with the engine running make sure the engine idle is 1000rpm and nothing more or less...

 

 

thats how i did it

 

if thats too complicated try telling a garage to do those things for you, or get a hanes manual and work out what im talking about

If yours is single point then it has the idle controlled via a stepper motor, that’s what controls how fast the car idles I think you’ll find with your single point unit.

Remove the Air Filter and you should be able to see it bolted on the side of the injector body. It looks sort of like a largish cylindrical valve with a small multi plug and loom section attached.

I think they are non repairable units btw so I don't think you'll be able to do a lot with it.
