John
ok 1st point, don't believe everything u read, on the clock mines done a bit more than 122mph o- 60 when it isn't running like a bag of shite feels a hell of a lot quicker than 9.2 seconds. but hey i was only giving my personal opinion and i'm sure others will disagree with me too one thing i sure as hell ain't gonna argue about is reliability! i can see this motor is gonna cost a few quid to keep in good nick. Colin
My suggestion mate? Get yourself a 1.4 mk4 Escort. Make sure the chassic and bodywork is rot and rust free. Sort out any bodywork you want (in my opinion, keep it series one or series two rst styling, no cossie fronts etc, yuck!) Get yourself a 2.0 Litre Zetec engine in there, and enjoy far superior preformance that any xr3i could offer you, as well as the knowledge that its gonna be hugely reliable with 130 bhp as standard, and scop for over 200 bhp with webers and cams if you want. That will scare most things out there! And be reasonably cheap to insure!
