Possibly The Worst Car History in the World?

Firstly....

1985%20Talbot%20Horizon.jpg

Not even going into this one, mine was this colour, with a blue drivers door.

Bought it when I first worked in an MOT bay for £20.

I had one of these too! Felt like a luxury car after the T*lbot. None of that modern 999cc FIRE engine stuff for me though. I had a rapid 800cc OHV!!! :thumb:

I then had one of these, in that colour! 1298cc Simca OHV engine, same as the one out of the Talbot. Wasn't a bad car to be fair, had 130k on the clock when I got it, drove it for another 20k with no issues.

THE FIESTA PHASE

juliets.jpg

I had these two bad girls together! Juliet I, and Juliet II. Both 120k mk3 Popular Plus's. Bought as a "joblot." Even had identical rust patches! £100 a pair, both with about 3 months MOT!!! :thumb:

Benham Finally Moves to OHC!

"Sooty" Dreadful poverty spec 1.8D mk4 Fiesta. Bought from father in law, and within a week dropped her belts. Simply couldn't be arsed to repair her.

(The one on the left)

This was "Bev" my 306DT, tuned up quite a bit. Pretty rapid for an old diesel, (aprox 125BHP + lots of torque,) shredded her clutch at 240,000 and was deemed and uneconmocal repair. **tear in eye**

"Marion..."

I bought Marion when I was a student nurse. I needed something cheap (£150,) and cheap to run. Marion fullfilled both roles prefectly. She'd done 200k, but had a complete history. She happily munched away at 2500 miles a month for a year, with only a battery and a shed load of oil changes. Wonderful Isuzu lump was old, but willing, never returned less than 600 miles from a tank, even when provoked. Even passed an MOT first time before I got rid of her. Recently sold.

Then Sharon........

Can anybody beat that for a list of shite cars?

There has also been a 1.5D Corsa-B kicking about during there too, and a rather nippy 1.4 mk4 Fiesta, just shame the Fiesta had both a petrol, and an oil drinking habbit!

Regards,

Andy

nice history, guessing that the escort has been given face lift, looks like a K 1992 MK5b with 5B mirrors and a mk6 front??

It appears to be made out of bits to be honest.....

I've never seen a mk5 with a mk6 front, aparently people do swap them.....

She's also Melina Blue, which I didn't think came in until much later.......

Regards,

Andy
