I was looking at all your fab pictures of your cars and saw petes below

I have the same spliter at the bottom on my standard L bumper in its orginal black plastic colour

was wondering weather i should cut it into 2 peices like on petes and paint is red??

 

plus anyone recoment any types of paints and how do i make it shinny

 

Please give surgetions below

You might as well buy a pre-painted bumper(colour coded) to start with, as you will have to buy an etch primer, for the paint to key onto a standard black bumper.

Plus you can get your new bumper ready to your liking, before fitting with no rushing to get finished. Al.

When I picked the bumper up from the bodyshop he said he would never do another one cos it was such a bloody pain to do 8o Are you wanting to have it smoothed and blended ?( If so leave it to the pros ;) The materials alone for such a job would set you back a fair bit, so you may as well pay a bodyshop to do it 8)
