I wouldnt spend loads on this new one, just keep it nice and wait until you can afford a better engine. I have been through a few Escorts but want to keep hold of mine for a bit. marshy Posted November 19, 2007 Author Share Posted November 19, 2007 the orion went cos it fried the electrics behind the dash...got quoted £300 to repair...the escort went as it owed me near enough £600 in repairs..and still needed more...so got sold on for £300.the mk6 has a couple of areas that need a little work but..hey its an escort..you cant expect anything less!!! i miss the orion tho..wouldve looked sweet..cargy actually did me a photoshop of it done..ive still got the picture in drawer!!!as for the mk6..plans are subtle but nice..im thinking..colour code strips..leave handles and sails black..lower 40mm..gti skirts,spats,fogged front bumper with cossie bib..black projectors...and my 17s..
