TommyT
Was in Watford last night (hempstead road for those who know it) and the lady in front of me slammed on her brakes last minute at the lights before she got near to the traffic. Was doing 30 as it happened on a speed camera! I managed to stop but the guy behind me did'nt . He hit me up the arse but has only luckily caused damage to the bumper. It pushed me into the lady infront who got out checked her car and we agreed to not take it any further as my front and her back were fine. The bloke who hit me was in a 55 plate Corsa and didn't have a scratch on his car. He then tried denying he had caused the damage to my car!!! !!! Exchanged details and have gone through his insurance today! Few piccys (bit dirty mind): The main damage:http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa267/tom_otoole/PICT0494.jpg A Little on the side:http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa267/tom_otoole/PICT0496.jpg And popped out at the side but can be popped back in easily enough for now:http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa267/tom_otoole/PICT0497.jpg Edited December 6, 2007 by TommyT
micwilliams
At least the damage ain't tht bad. My bro had a small crash a while back, both cars doing about 10mph, and insurance wrote his car off!

Yea the mods were declared. Unfortunately i'm with the robbing B*stards also known as Admiral and they state that if in the event of an accident, your parts will be replaced with standard factory fitted ones. So, I'm not 100% sure where I stand with this as it is going through the other blokes insurance. However the place fixing it will do me a "deal" where I may be able to get a st24 one on there.
