Rh1no96 Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Just bought an N/A 1.8 endura D 55D van few questions really, any easy engine swap such as 1.8 endura TD how hard is this to do? Any how to guides? This question next May sound pretty stupid but here goes, can you fit a turbo to the 1.8 endura N/A engine? I've heard they run the same internals but don't know if this is true. demented Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 I believe it will be much easier and probably less expensive to sell your current vehicle and buy a Escort Turbo Diesel van. I wld not bother trying to turbo the na endura diesel lump.....or alternatively have u thought about throwing a zetec engine in there? 1.6 or 1.8 are both super cheap and either will be much faster than the old oil burner!
