No not at all seeing as he is a good actor (seen him in various other roles too).No Bubba smith wouldn't have pulled off that role.He wasn't the only actor not good enough to play roles in anything other than Police Acadamy films either. Mahoney was in Short Circuit!! I give up, i cant defend police academy...To be fair, not a lot of 80s films are worth remembering for a good reason. Still watch them when they get repeated on ITV I wouldn't expect anything but fun silly comedy/slapstick just as you state.I also wouldn't expect certain actors to be in "more films" which was my original comment.He fitted the part just perfect but I doubt he would of been concidered for other roles though.Hence I don't think it was a "shame he wasn't in more films".
