smithyandco
Insure the car in her name and add yourself as a named driver... sometimes works out cheaper when you have a woman on the insurance anyway! If your only using while she is away then your technically not the main driver... So in theory it should be legal!

mutley
Can you insure it as a second car on your policy? i think the main problem here is that he's not the legal keeper of the car.. i know this was a problem for charley when she was using the XR.... Trig
just say you are, and that the log book is being sent of to be put in your name...........you are just full of gems aren't you. sorry, not gems, shite, forgive my mistake. Noel, isnt it a chunk cheaper for her to still insure it with you as a named driver? Its £150 cheaper for my missus to be a main driver with me named so I can use it if I need to. And then whenever she is back, its all covered for her, and she wont be losing her NCB, just increasing it.

danposs86
Just pay to keep her insured, builds her no claim bonus, and saves faffing around getting her insured on it again when she gets back. She's only away a couple of months at a time right?
