mykez69 Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 the only people who arent coming herts meet is me and stoney because of this stoke meet, and thats because its close to us, i dont have 30 pounds petrol money when i cant even get a bus into town Did not mean it come accross as harsh as it sounded ,Im all for meets popping up all over the country as its saves people travelling long distances and could be great to create a more closer nit feel, and I fully understand people going to a closer meet as I relate to that ,last month I got canned about picking a meet date (Trax) when another was on same date ,so I moved it to keep the club and all those wanting to go to it happy , just a friendly PM would have been nice from those who changed their mind that was all you would of got a pm or post on your topic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Where possible I keep an eye on what dates people say so that 2 things are not happening in a close area on the same day, which thankfully everyone else seems to consider, but people shouldnt be bothered about something else happening on the same day that is 200 miles away. Squav Posted July 31, 2008 Author Share Posted July 31, 2008 (edited) Hope you guys get a good turn out ,wayne .mykez69,stoney I will take you off the herts meet list now then but a PM would have been nice from you lot rather than just reading it here Dj squav ,we try and arrange meets so its does not clash with other meets as trig pointed out last month for future reference Sorry mate, but it was just the only day that was decided as being close enough and best for everyone to attend on and agreed on it due to that. I'll try not to do it in the future, but as this is the first time that I have arranged anything and the first Stoke meet I apologise due to my lack of experience. Thanks for telling me that though I will bear it in mind Again, sorry for any inconvenience. Squav Posted August 6, 2008 Author Share Posted August 6, 2008 Try a scrap yard mate, went one in Northwich today for my grandad because he needed a new rear light for his fiesta and they only wanted a tenner for one including bulbs ... saw a couple of mk5b/mk6 escort lights on the shelf as well! Or clear silicone them in like I had to do with mine ... Was gonna be getting some alloys but they not available anymore so i guess i could splash out. The manta leaks in the boot aswell, bloody seal gone on that too. I've got a set of original mk6 lights that I took out of my V reg when I put half-tints in, not sure what state they're in and what bulbs i've took out though (think it's one of the brake light bulbs i took out). Are the fog lights alright on yours because I think I broke one of the bolts on them? Gonzo0 ... Your down for the Herts Meet, but also said you might come to this one. They're on the same day .
