F1ACK Posted May 19, 2003 Share Posted May 19, 2003 Top day, good pics, nice to meet yous all again Thanks to toby and pete I think, (sorry if got names wrong I'm rubbish with names) for showing me the way, I was supposed to convoy up with the orion lads but rather than getting up at 4:30 to meet them at 5:30 I overslept and didn't wake up till 6:30 Bit of a blast down the motorway, and I reached a 50 limit on the M1, so being good I slowed down to 70mph, only to be blasted past by toby, clearly missing the speed limit signs so I sped up and caught up with him following him into a service station were we found pete and his misses we then all set off to the evo meeting point, somehow I managed to keep up (only having a 1.6) with the speed just a touch over the speedlimit (in germany) Eventually meeting with the evo lads taking a more steady pace to the park what a sight that must have been!!! Funniest part was the fact that I beat the orion convoy there despite leaving nearly 2 hours late!!! although I did use a whole tank of petrol on the way up and only just over a 1/4 of a tank on the way back On entering I was relived to see the speed bumpers only covered half the road, till we rounded a corner and they went all the way, car ground out on everyone but no serious damage (I hope) Good to see you all anyway, all the cars are looking stunning, love the new gold wheels Rich, really look sweet and cheers for the mirrors, another job to be done Had a bit of fun with a police car on the way back, but he left us alone after a few miles of playing Looking foward to the next one, you lot going to the UK Modified Nationals?
