Tez162003 Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 atleast you got to drive it, i mucked about on it over the summer to sort it out ready for end of show season when i can demote the escort, but literally the day i was about to swap insurance over and start driving it, i found out about redundancies at work, thus me having to sell it. Not happy is the word... but oh well, only a car right? the money i would have spent on running it would have bankrupted me lol What scoob you getting next then? Looking at another wrx tez either in silver or white ideally. What to find one that has had an exhaust and a few other things done, but i will get a fmic fitted and either a set of white comps or white rota rims. Tez162003 Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 I had 2 things lined up for that scoob, that was, all 26 (iirc) hoses in the engine bay were going to be uprated to SFS (i got 60% off if i wanted them) lol then i was going to get a FMIC, but after sorting out the mess you did to it lol i was sort of happy to sell it, although it worked as it should have by the point i sold it, started first time every time, idled perfectly, boosted properly, and everything worked as it should, better to have money than spend it sometimes, if i got another it would have to be a newer model, anything bar the pre face lift, but ideally either a bug eye, hawk eye or post face lift classic but i dont see that happening, im knocking cars on the head for now, im happy with just my cheap run around. Over time im going to get a lot of engine work done to it, what to see 400bhp at the fly is my goal. Going to get proper engine mangament prop an apexi ecu with the power commander, fully rebuild using forged parts and uprated cams better injectors bah blah.
