so ive got a 1.6 zetec but im going to be using a rs2k cat back exhaust system with a decat and 421, can i just get any 421 mani or will it have to be a specific one either for 1.6 zetec or rs2k, or are they the same?

Zetec bolt pattern will be different, so get that.

I wouldn't be putting a 421 on it.. the last thing the 1.6 engine needs is something killing the torque, as that is what the engine is good for, good low-end response! I wouldn't kill the cat either.. unless all you're after is noise and ignoring performance.

so assuming i AM upgrading to rs2000 power which one would i eventually need? or for using my rs2k middle section can i use 1.6 cat?
