Black-ice
Hey guys My 2 front tyres are becoming quite worn, so i rang quick fit today for some prices for 205 40 17, they quoted me 150 for a pair, they were apparently the cheapest they had, does this seem steep? i do very little mileage so i only wanted a budget wat would i be looking to pay at best? cheers
Stu
I would go for a pair of these... http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m4b0s13p7698 Should cost you about £12-15 each to get fitted at your local tyre place... (not quikfit)..

Marks gti
Hi mate i work for Kwik-fit mobile and there is no way i would buy tyres of them! Even with a 25% discount So I have these on my Gti about the same as Admirals should last you 10k to 15k dependant on driving style where as a Bridgestone or michelin would last 20k to 25k but thats why they cost about £150 each lolGive them a try mate there OK clicky click click!!
