Super_Shaun
Im looking to sell or swap my Golf. PX for a Escort Mk5/6 3dr would entertain an estate with either 1.8 or 2.0 conversion. Must have 6months Test, tax isnt much of a issue. Similar value or cash my way. It was step into the VW and Ive enjoyed it loads but the pull to OSF again is getting to much. Ive owned the Golf for about 3months and Ive loved it most fun Ive had in a car for a long time. J Reg 1.8 8v 165K (Sounds alot but rebuilt in 2006) has same compression as when it left the factory. I spent £350 4days after buying her on a full service at a VW specialist which included all fluids inc P.S fluid, new dizzy, plugs etc. Engine is strong and pulls like an ox. Loads of history, folder full of reciepts. 4 Months Tax, MOT Till Nov. engine...k&n panel filter engine fully rebuilt in 2006 quick shift by b&m gearbox is solid and tight no crunches etc chassis...supersport coilovers 3months oldg60 top mounts (new)drilled and grooved discsporsche 928 alloys polished 7x16 front with 195/40/16 toyo tr18x16 rear with 195/40/16 toyo tr1 all tyres are newbraided brake pipes body...Original amber indicaters mint gti grill also have an early mk2 7 slat grill Tornado red ly3d, stone chips on very tips of wings around head lights and bonnet as expected really. Few blemishes but the cars not new no dents and the underneath is great, Ive had it on the pits at work a few times to clean her up and its lovely. lolBody has no rust at all, when I bought it there was a patch the size of 50pence piece on the drivers door and a patch under the battery tray both taken back and repainted, see pics below for work. Interior:Standard, with a Momo 280mm Steering Wheel being the only change. Not sure what else to say heres some pics. Any questions PM me. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC01931.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC01927.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC00683.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC01761.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC01741.jpg Few of the work done to the door and battery tray, the colour match is spot on you wouldnt know. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC00698.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC00709.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC00713.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC00706.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Super_Shaun/Golf%20MK2/DSC00710.jpg £2600 OVNO I realise the Euro "scene" my not to be to many peoples taste on certain sites so any negative comments about the car or the brand please think before posting and making your self look silly xx. dansGTI
Love it! Only prob is, its going to have to be one very nice Escort that is going to compare or get anywhere near to your 2600 price tag! Esp as you wont entertain a RS2k. But do like the car a lot. Have an Escort GTi estate but i dont have the cash you would need to make your 2600. Good luck
