dutchkev
as title, as found out we have budgets on the focus (not mid range as told!!) and the car slides like a B*stard, and need better tyres Found the pirelli Zero's for a good price, just wanna know are they as good as P6000? are they good all round weather tyres or will i struggle in the wet? If anyone can recommend a decent tyre (no budget or mid-range) for around £200? i need four (dont mean to be cheap lol)
Gonzo0
Uniroyal Rainsport2's Kev. Mine were £60 each 205/45/16. Excellent grip in both dry and wet and wear very well aswell.
ScORTED
p zeros are fine, i've always gone for decent tyres only and tbh wasn't overly impressed, Eagle F1 GSD3s are the tyre that have impressed me the most for road tyres but for price versus performance toyo proxes for me all the way the PX4s are fantastic value check camskill see how much they're asking in your size
SLEEMAN
the Falkan ZE912's are a good buy for the price not to mention life and grip! Pirelli P zero nero do have some good ratings but not as good as the Falkans from what i hear!
ScORTED
never run 912, but 512s were average at best! unless falken have made some major developments i owuldn't be buying those, i've tried an aweful lot of tyres on escort in various sizes over the years
dutchkev
cheers fellas, ive got a choice of either 205/50 or 205/45, the 205/45 come in as around £60 a corner for the p zeros, but they dont do a 50 profile also been told because of the focus arches, putting a 45 profile on them would make it look like its on stilts! how about avon ZV5? can get them the same price as the p zeros but then again i can get toyo proxes CF1 for £61.50 Edited June 9, 2009 by dutchkev

ScORTED
the reviews aren't from anyone using low-profiles but I'll take your word, not sure if i would buy falkens again though... Dunno about ZV5's but ZV3's are pretty good VFM
