Its not dangerous at all if they're done right. I.e cutting the spring in the right place so it sits in the top mount thingy right. Its only becomes dangerous when you read about it on the internet too much. How many people do you know that have been in REAL dangerous situations because of cut springs. The worst thing its going to do is make the lower arms wear quicker, but that just escorts for you.

Just to add, you'll always get one idiot thats had an accident with cut springs and blames them.

" Ohh I was driving along and the car infront slammed his brakes on, and I went into the back of him, it would never of happened if it wasnt for those pesky cut springs "

Well if that doesn't convince people to cut their springs, I don't know what will.....

ive also had loads of lowered cars , loads on propper springs and loads on cuts , handling isnt perfect on cuts but if shocks are good then still improved ,

also had many mk3 and mk4 scrotes that had the chop and they aint dangerous if done and seat right ,

Fcuk what the internet 'ive heard it so it must be true oh my god did some one say diy not buy it crew' nerds say

chop tht fcuker and tie the springs in so they dont move ,

many people have bought springs that are 'propper' yet move in their seats when jacked up , so really whats the differnce??? Fcuk ALL GET THE GRINDER OUT!!!,.

Got a few bits done today, nothing major, collage the dash, needs trimming around edges when dry.

That dash is gonna reflect of the windscreen and do your fooking head in!!!!!

Some things about rat look car I think look ace, but sometimes I think you can try too hard and get it completely wrong!

Sorry Mike, not liking the latest update!

...Reason for not liking the zip ties (if you'd like one)... the cuts in the bumper are too straight! Surely the only reason anyone would patch a bumper is cos of accident damage, which is usually jagged, or at least curved... not perfectly straight! :(

Sorry... I don't like being negative, but hopefully I've been constructive, but otherwise I know you won't care! :P :pancake:

Usually an odd thing to say, but have you considered scraping it up against a wall?
