Dont need spacers.I have 205/40/16 tyres on mine. You will also need to modify the grease cap to get the centre cap to fit.

5 MM for a mk 6 van. Trust me otherwise MOT fail

OR mod the rear arches??

Unfortunaly Kev they scrub the inner body of the van, not the arches. Tho a wide arch mk6 van would look mint with deep dish alloys

you do need spacers on a mk 6 van. I had to get 5mm spacers, otherwise they wouldnt give me an MOT certificate as they rub if the van has some weight in the back. 5 mm will be fine mate
I dont have spacers on the back of my van.Why would it be a mot failure to not have spacers? They dont rub on the inner arch cos of the offset. There is loads of room between the tyre and inner arch and will never rub.

The cap you have to modify is the cap in the centre of the drum which covers the hub nut and bearing. The centre caps wont go on if not modified as they stick out to far. What I done to get centre caps to fit was to cut the cap in half so it was just a ring and not a cap.I tried taking it out completely but without it I had trouble with the drum not sitting correct.

My van is lowered and the arches have been rolled.

Just been out and took some photos.

As you can see there is loads of room between wheel/tyre and inner arch with no spacers. There is no way the wheel/tyre can rub on inner arch.

Hopefully you will see what I have done in this photo.I have cut the top of the cap off, which makes it shorter so the centre cap will go on.

When I took the caps right out I had trouble with the brakes, when I put them back in they were fine so I just cut the top off.
