wwwd
On the Basic Settings page about half way down are the DNS settings. In the manual, it's under "How to Preform A Manual Configuration" if you need a reference.http://forums.opendns.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=1453So do I just signup for the OpenDNS basic which is free and then put in the details it gives me? stoo2000
You don't have to sign up unless you want more control over things you can block with OpenDNS These are what you need: 208.67.222.222208.67.220.

Everything seems to work properly now Just a couple of queries though: 1. Should I be worried about using different DNS Servers? Am I now being monitored?2. What was wrong with my old default DNS settings and what happened there?3. What do they new settings actually do?

stoo2000
1. Nope alot of people use OpenDns servers2. Some ISPS have unreliable DNS servers, open dns have a failover system so the DNS servers are always available.3. as above, uses far more resilient DNS servers, OpenDNS also has the capacity to block worms and botnets
