Backup Software

Hi all

 

I'm looking for some software (Vista and 7 compatible) that can backup folders from one computer onto a remote shared directory, that modifies the remote backup rather than just creating new backups of the folder each time, and has the ability to turn off the computer when finished.

 

So, any recommendations? Im currently using Karen's Replicator, which works well but can't be used to turn the PC off when finished (Im thinking this will be the last thing I do before I leave the office at night, and can leave it running).

not sure about the shut down thing but it only replicates new and changed files so doesn't take long. You could always shut the PC down at a scheduled time each night at a certain time using a batch file run from scheduled tasks.
