Lee_2f2f
Right. Great that his insurance has paid out etc etc... even if you have not claimed on YOUR insurance, did you notify your insurance that you had been involved in an incident? if not then I suggest you do it now so you have your back covered. if you get the bike wrote off by claiming on your insurance when his company has already paid out, Your insurance will get in touch with his, you will be caught out, and you will be done for a fraudulant claim. If they have paid out then your bike is not a write off, when you say cosmetic damage? Elabirate it for us.... I doubt you will need to get it Vosa Approved. kevscort15
Yeh informed my insurance straight away about the accident , my solicitors have been informed that his insurance have paid out ,they have closed there files ,his insurance asked me what my bike was worth and i told them and they agreed to give me that price ,then they asked me if i could dispose of the bike and i have had a letter saying that i accepted there price and i keep the bike, the handle bars are bent , so getting a new pair of renthals , that was on my bike, the fairing is split but my mate got his own bodywork place so that aint a problem but it dont stop me riding it as its only about three inches in length and the exhaust is slightly scuffed, had quote off yamaha ,the fairing was 600 quid , the exhaust 600 , the cradle which is slightly bent was 210 but also it has a cadburys dream machine paintwork , which only a few bikes was sent to have it done from yamaha and my bike was one of them
