Day Insurance

Iv had the same problem recently tried insuring my rst for a day and none of the insure for a day sites i was going on were having any of it! was doing it to drive it home from leister upon purchase but in the end my mate came with me who used his fully comp which covered him on it..

 

mentioned somewhere in this post it says that using fully comp you can be insured with the owners permission on a car as long as it has an existing poilcy. well with mine and my mates insurance the car dosent need to have an existing policy it just has to be in someone elses name and road legal (tax/mot) and have permission. this the same for anyone else??

 

anyway upon learning this my rst is now going in my mums name and i have constant permission to drive it to prevent me having to take out another poilcy on it if it was in my name
