KNITERIDER Posted February 16, 2011 Share Posted February 16, 2011 here for sale is my much loved mk5 track car. funds and time have meant this has become more of an ornament than a car so here she is for someone else to enjoy. it started life as a 1.6 s and is still registered as such, it has MOT bu i cant find the ticket, i believe it is untill march. bad points first: needs an alternator (runs fine but doesnt charge battery,alternator has been binned but replacement not bought so wont run on collection but i garuntee it was running fine when removed.) engine was put in by an active mechanic who works to a very high standard. needs feed to rev counter re wiring as over reads due to different coilpacks compared to the original engine, and needs wires soldering to thermostat plug. needs plates on rear chasis rails and on one sill, and arches are crusty. for starters the rolling shell with doors boot (no bonnet) no lights no bumpers with engine dash steering wheel and engine: £300 scorpian exhaust system and decat £100 compomotive mo's (in great condition just need painitn (no curbing) and 2 tyres not fitted £175 (no offers) half show roll cage: £100 (home made job can be made to look good with minimal work) front and rear strut braces: £70 pair, £45 each mk5 recaro interior: £80 (very grubby!) x2 black/white bucket seats (worn bolster) (not fitted) (£100 with mk5 subframes £80 without) x2 harnesses £40 pair £25 each mondeo v6 callipers and new pads (not fitted) (£80 brand new set of lowering springs (-55mm) not fitted £30 16" alloys (buckled, but fine to sit on) £30 RS2000 front and rear bumpers and skirts (few scuffs) £100 set bumpers £40 each skirts £30 RS2000 headlights/sidelights and clear indis £30 vented laguna splitter £30 smoothed grill on car: £15 (holes slightly unlevel needs respray) snoothed grill 2: in blue mint condition 4 breather holes £25 RS2000 bulge bonnet: £80 smoked clear rear lights £30 MUCH MORE just ask all parts prices collected ask if need posting, bigger items collected only, for the lot £700 will alter price depending what sells. pics on this link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...#ht_1170wt_1139 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
