bad ass cossie
iam looking to do this type of thing but not with the wider arch and top spoiler.http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/27007.jpgive told told best and cheapest way to do it is use mesh to get the shape and then use fibre glass matting to cover it and blend to the cars bodywhat would you sayYES/NO lol. lee grout
Time to get the fibreglass out! Do you have cossie rep arches? If not, then building up the top portion to meet the spoiler will just look weird, or no....... Yes, that is the normal way to go about fibreglassing Edited May 1, 2011 by lee grout

lee grout
Do I assume the quarters rise up slightly higher than normal to meet the curve of the spoiler, instead of leveling off flat with the boot?
bad ass cossie
al show you a pic now of a standared mk5 with cosworth spoiler fitted will only need to build up a tad tho not a lot. this is a pic of escortmk5 escort with cosworth lower on it can you see the diffrents now compared to the blue 1 ive posted up the page lolhttp://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/27008.jpg
lee grout
In all honesty its not the hardest thing to mould. A bit of mesh running from the top section of the wing up and over the spoiler will give you the smooth curve. get some gloves on, some resin out, and slap it on Just remember....the neater you are, the easier and quicker it will be. Andyb0127
Another thing you could try to build it up is to use p40 glass fibre paste, this has a really good build to it once you have desired build apply filler over the top and shape as neccesary. massivewangers
Buy some cossie rear quarters and just use the top part where it rises up to meet the spoiler? Whatever you do, it will be a pain in the arse to get it to look right and not crack and end up looking awful.

tezmanian devil
Just shape the sides of the spoiler so it curves down to the rear quarter? I'd just leave as is, it doesn't look that bad really..
