As it stands this evening, still a few finishing touches to go :) Sat for near 6 month unstarted, Filled with some fresh petrol and she fired within 10 kicks, chuffed to bits :)

Old exhaust is back on but only still I can afford an FMF or pro circuit :)

The eagle eyes among you will notice no foot pegs, no fork guards, no brakes... but this will all be addressed minus the fork guards tomorrow :)

Looking good - it's easy to strip a bike and all too often that's the way they stay until sold off in bags to someone that will re-build it. It's good to see that this one hasn't fallen to this fate and looks nice and clean - i miss my KX250 :( happy riding mate

You wouldn't want to know how many times I contemplated doing that, I adopted the approach of if something breaks Pee off and look at it another day :) seemed to work :)

  • 4 weeks later...

Had a couple of quick runs out on it now :) goes like sh*t of a shovel, had some problems getting a comfy suspension setup but its nearly there now... unfortunately my local track is a sand track so a bit hard to get it setup right

Bit Sandy after a run out :P

Looks fantastic, can these be made road legal?

With road legal tyres, lights, speedo, plates and a vic/mot, usually yes

Anything with an engine and wheels can be made road legal... usually it involves too much work, sometimes a complete transformation to achieve.

Pretty much spoils the look of an MX when making it road legal.

You can buy MX bikes made road legal from factory, usually a better and usually cheaper option.
