cosworth widearch kit

Hmm that looks awkward! the part of the panel that goes into the wheel arch (1st pic) should be a lot wider. Easy fix though, just bridge the gap with fibreglass once fitted to the car. On mine I put expanding foam between the original body of the car and the wide arch. This gives you something to work from instead of thin air!

As for the second pic, that looks well dodgy. bout an inch short of meeting the top of the arch ! If it was me, I think i would fix the whole panel to the car in situe (only screwing it on one side.) Then cut the panel in half and move one half to whichever side it needs to go then bridge the gap leftover. Will be a workload but it WILL work, WILL look good, and no-body will know the difference when done.

Shame, there's nothing worse than getting a kit to have it fit like that, even mine wasnt that dodgy! I thought it was pants! lol You never know sometimes how lucky you are.

Any more help needed, just ask.

Just so you can see the difference in kit. Mine returned all the way back into the wheel arch, whereas yours returns abot 10-15mm!

well i got to the point where ive chopped the top half off which is easier to fit but still the gaps i was going to fill behind with foam and just fill it into the car, im going to tiger seal it on for now then work around that only if it wasnt such a ball ache lol was in two minds of scrapping the cossie arch idea and fitting rs wheel arches lol

The only thing i'd say is to make it fit however you can around the outer edges ( whatever cutting is neccessary, just do it). will be a lot easier to cut, space and fill gaps rather than just stickin it on then needing a tonne of fibreglass to sort the outsides, not to metion getting the right shape!

I.E your second pic, easier to cut and fill a 1" gap in the middle, than just splodging resin to get it to go to the inside of the arch, not to mention hours of rubbing and shaping!
