bad ass cossie Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 Hi guys my mate has just brought a mk3 fiesta van but hes unsure how to put windows in the sides does any 1 know how its done and what is needed apart from the glass pics would be great or threads on other forum that have done this cheers. shawdreamer Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 Hi guys my mate has just brought a mk3 fiesta van but hes unsure how to put windows in the sides does any 1 know how its done and what is needed apart from the glass pics would be great or threads on other forum that have done this cheers. aslong as he cuts the openings into the sections that dont have the reinforcement struts its really as simple as it sounds. cut the hole fit the rubber seal around the glass (trim were needed) feed a piece of sea fishing cable into the seal rubber lip to aid fitment slot window onto the bottom lip of the opening then while a second set of hands pushes the glass toward the opening you slowly pull the cable so as to flip the inner rubber lip into the inside of the opening. once all done all the way round fit the final filler strip around the outside of the rubber and trim..... ....job done Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
