hi all, got me a mk6 escort van, wid wrc front bumper, an been toyin wid the idea of puttin a pod on the front, lookin 4 help, will it b easier 2 make 1 or buy 1? or any1 no where i can get 1 cheap? lol, dont mind if it needs a bit of wrk

depends on a few things......

 

have you the cash to pay for the relatively expensive purpose made ones?

 

have you got the basic knowledge to adapt a universal type?

 

or

 

have you the knowledge and patience to start from scratch to make something set to your requirements?

I'm not sure how well it will fit, but there's one on eBay.

You can take a cast of the bonnet area it will sit on then make a mold from that to make a base that you can blend into a universal one or one not intended for that bonnet. The MK5 version for example wont fit right as the MK6 bonnet is more curved.
