Neil-Serenade
Morning all. First of all im not sure if i have asked this before so apologies if i repeating myself but im just wondering what the best way is to fit a cosworth splitter to a Escort MK6 bumper which DOESN'T have the foglights fitted. I have had the bumper and splitter sat in the garage for a few months now so thought was about time i did something about it. The splitter is 3 piece fibreglass (2 hockey sticks and main front part) and the bumper is a brand new genuine ford part. I thought the 3 piece would be easier to fit as each part could be attached seperatley. Could anyone tell me whats the best method of attaching it and what the best materials are to use, eg filler, primer etc. If anyone has a guide to one which they have fitted themselves that would be much appreciated. Thanks

p4u1
Fit it attached to the car, fiberglass would be the best stuff to use then skim and shape with bodyfiller
sortedford
Easiest way would be to sell the splitter you have and get the correct one, as the one you have will be shaped for a mk5 so will need cutting and filling.
