seat tilt problem

Passenger seat on my gti 3dr wont tilt forward to allow rear access lever on side lifts but seat wont tilt anyone any quick fixes thanks Tomsy

on my my 5 escort i used some bicycle brake cable and one of them white plastic electrical connecters (ones with two screws in ) threaded it on cable then threaded it through hole in lever and back around and into conector again then thread broken end (trim neat first) in connector too adjust then tighten never broke again :thumb:

Havn't had a good look at seat yet but how do you get inside the seat to fix cables

not saying yours is the same but mine snapped at the bottom and i could reach it :thumb:
