DaweV6
Hoping so Grant, will update forum soon. Thanks 50 miles ? That's nothing. I can get 80 miles without moving out of mine. And then it plummets down in second half. Normal. Ford. What do you expect. One of my escorts could get past 100 miles without movement and then go thru visual 1/2 tank in next 120 miles. stevmo3691
they do stay up there and depending on driving my 1.8's would drop after 80 or so miles. these black top engines do keep going. a 2.0 ghia x I broke had 167K and that only went because the cambelt was replaced at 140 but not the tensioner and that failed. I know of one that (through several owners) clocked up 312K before rust made it un-economical to repair. engine still worked. regular servicing and checking fluids they out live the cars oh and kev - ghia x and ST24 were same price new - basically ghia x got fake wood, sunroof, trip computer and full leather where as ST got RSAP, half leather sports seats, uprated shocks and silver dash trim. ST200's cost a whole £10 more at £23,000 new - shows how things change. now a days 23K gets you a focus diesel

At least ! And ST200 was sub 20k car. Same price as Escort Cosworth 4 years before that. That was the idea. And disappointment. For 23k you could have fully equipped ST220 in 2003 on the road.
