They had my car over two weeks, I dropped it off on a sat and collected on a sat, as meant didn't have to do it during work time or rush hour. and they started it late in week etc.

 

I had it stone chipped rather than painted. The rust was not cut out. But they can do that,

 

I was happy. The guy there is very pleasant too.

 

Possibly not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for

I'm in wolverhampton but prepared to travel a bit for the right price and.good quality! I'll look into doing it myself but not very confident and will have to wait for warmer weather.I can't really justify spending anymore then 300 on both sides. I plan to waxoyl the death out of it this summer anyway.

 

If you look in my thread the place that did my arches charged £300 for both of mine, they are in Hinckley, can did the details out if you like?

 

I couldn't find a decent body shop in Birmingham (not to say there isn't but I couldn't find one)

You had you dinks/dents sorted at same time aswell didnt you?

Cheers to everyone for all the info. I've got family in leicester so may pop round on a visit. When did you have yours done JC and is there any sign of it coming back? To be honest I'll probably go for stone chip too if its as good a finish as those pics. I'll shop around abit but I am very interested in using that one in Hinckley. I'll keep everybodt posted.

yup, £300 for the arches and £150 on dents and damaged paint work, as it was there I wanted to get rid of the marks that always annoyed me!

No worries, always good to have a bench mark to compare to

as said dont do it yourself, body shops will use FAR better paint than what you get in a spray can from halfords for a start and will blend it in to the rest of the car to hide the fact its had word done.

unlike spray can paint that will go flat and look like an eye sore after a month
