Sounds a bit nuts.

When the rear fog comes on does the light on the dash switch also.....if there is one?

Surely this can only be done to a sketchy wire somewhere which is gonna need finding, bit odd its all happened at one, possible water on contacts somewhere.

just remembered its a van they were prone to bad cotacts on the lighting units take off connector at light unit and check for corrosion cant remember where but there should be a brown wire that goes to screw(earth) in the body near the light unit check this for corrosion too :thumb

Fixed the fog light problem... I had fitted a dual fog light switch as I was planning of fitting front fogs to the van but found out it hasnt got the higher spec wiring loom and I cant wire them in :L so I switched back to my old single rear fog switch and its all done, forgot to check if it fixed my brake light problem.... but hopefully it has somehow lol.
