quick question how can you know tell when one of the rear bushes has gone on?

can manifest in various ways.

 

sometimes you get a skittish back end in cornering.

 

sometimes you get audible creaking.

 

best thing you can do if you suspect one or both are gone is jack up the rear and have a look, their pretty visible from underneath when not under load and they show obvious perished cracking if their on their on the way out.
