ekkie7 Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 Hi ppl,big problem started the escort and went to the shop all good,come out the shop went to start it and it just about turned over,i put the lights on just after starting her the radio went off the rev counter dropped,engine nearly cut out,engines still on at this point went to put my foot down no power like the battery was running the car,now got it back home turned it off,tryed to turn it back on it clicks,its a new battery only had it 2 months back,im thinking the old fusebox problem as these are known bad for it plus i know the starter motors good as it was tested by myself before when i changed my gearbox back to back starter,plus im thinking charge wire dodgy alternator??? havent had chance to look as its gone dark.
