Danzetec
It doesn't matter which engine you have, its which gearbox that matters If you have fitted the RS2000 gearbox then you will need the same cable
caldoofy
The rs2k clutch cable and si are different did the conversion to mtx in June, found that it was necessary to release the auto tensioner on the pedal before fitting to the box counter weight then back along the bulk head ( following same routing as original cable) then pushing through the hole in the bulk head and ensuring the grommet was fully home before getting on your back and fiddling around under the dash to locate the cable on the pedal ( very fiddly ). Hope that helps.

Do you know how long the cable is? as my parts distributor have given me a cable that seems to be 2 inches smaller than i need (the cable they said that would fit the rs2000 is the same size as my si one) im trying to establish if they have maybe just gotten the cable wrong but have measured roughly that the cable should be about 150 centemetres long? the tensioner is released and is still coming up 2 and half inches or so short, any ideas??? thanks dave
