james08
im hoping to be buying a set of doors for my van tomorrow and was wondering how the loom comes apart, does it come off with the doors or does it stay with the interior loom?
ScORTED
it unplugs where the doors meet the car, your van won't have any door loom at all (could do but unlikely) easiest is to make your own fused circuit for the windows
james08
nice an easy then, im going to be fitting the central locking too so ill be swapping the interior loom when i get that from the car too, the van door wont open from the inside so i thought id buy the locking mechanism from this door then thought id just buy the whole door with the looms and mechanisms in then fit what i want later on
Squiz
Make sure you have or can get a high spec fuse box as well That way you wont be wiring things in only to find the fuse box hasnt got the right circuits in it.
