scottybo
no im not planning on clocking back the miles lol i bought a puma dash today for the white dials and red needles which i think are a lot nice, i am yet to plug it in so i dont know how many miles the puma covered before it was scrapped. question is does the digi dash remember the mileage from the last car or is it fed the information from the car or something (first time ive ever worked with an electric speedo, always been cable to please excuse my lack of knowledge) and if the miles are way out from what my car is, then can i change them somehow to match the mileage of my escort????? cheers guysscott

I had to carefully (using a line that was hidden behind the black plastic cover of the front bit) use a stanly blade and cut the section out of the new dials and swap it with the old, make sure the cuts are the same on both unit and a little dab of superglue does the trick - don't bother with the light next to the long button - just do the section top right of the display - you could fail your mot if the wrong lights are lighting up!! sorry, you have to unscrew the dial face as well andd then the whole unit should easily just fall apart into three sections - just remeber which display unit is your original one and then you can mix and match the peices you want (the best condition centre bit) and put the whole thing back together. swapping the dislay takes less than 5 mins, changing the light symbol is a bit tricky as you have to be carefull with where you place the cut so that it's hidden behind the black bit on the front screen section. when you have the displays out, hold them up to the light to check symbol locations. hope this helps
