Verniers allow minute adjustments, without having to jump a whole tooth on the cam belt. If they're not dialed in correctly, you could lose power. If i were you, i'd save for a new induction system, whether it's carbs, throttle bodies, boost or a combination of the two. SLEEMAN Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 tb's can be used with standalone ecu's like omex, mtech v4, dta, megasquirt etc. if you want throttle bodies on the cheap try motorbike throttle body comversion. usually find them all over ebay and i have seen a few of them over on passionford so get hunting!
