bongo
why do you need to get them skimmed if they are the right piston for the job?
Ahmotorsport
Nothing wrong with Accralite. How much do you intend to take off?
Escortchris2010
Ive got onto burtons and they say that to get the desired c/r they will have to be skimmed which means I will have to do a mock build and measure tdc and bdc to calculate how much needs to be taken off If anything ... Stu
How much you need to take off depends on how much power you want and what kind of fuel you intend to use. Chances are there won't be enough meat on the crown for what you want to do. Better off grabbing some Vauxhall C20LET or XE pistons.
