wolf8 Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 Guys I rescued a gti last week from the scrapers ( going to do full blog & introduce myself later ) thing is amongst others things I needs both front springs , but can't find any listed for the gti only 1.8 are these springs all the same for the 1.8 ? Im going to order from euro car parts sometime today but again they only list 1.8 nothing about gti , any advice guys would be greatly appreciated , im at work at moment so can't write the full story but I will later this afternoon. Stu Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) IIRC there are only two different front springs for the petrol cars. Normal and sport. You probably want the latter, which I believe as the same as the RS2000 ones. I highly recommend you buy them from Ford, or just take OE ones off another vehicle.
