scottybo
What's not hard? The boots or arms or skirts? Now my wife isn out of work I'll have a bit more time. any of them lol, the skirts u just require a drill and some self tappers. the boots and lower arms you will just need a half decent socket set and some elbow grease
Jjosland
There's a new guy at work just started, was gonna get him to help out with stuff in future. scottybo
Best way to learn is to go and get stuck in. Mechanically the escorts are pretty easy to work on. Keep the haynes manual handy at all times and you will be fine. i recon i cld do brakes in my sleep nowadays lol
Jjosland
Haha. I will definitely give it a go this year. Also wanna get a white cam cover (got an idea if I can get one) And if iI've got the money I'll come and visit to get those wheels for a refurb

Jjosland
I will message him. Yeah I thought about it, just wouldn't want to do a bad job and be left with a crazy looking one so I will buy one paint it and swap it. Plans for anything this weekend? SLEEMAN
instead of buying one to paint how about buying one to powdercoat? paint can flake off powdercoat is more durable and easier to clean and white will be difficult to keep clean lol
Jjosland
Yeah that would be the ideal option!
SLEEMAN
I know of a local powdercoater near me who does really good powdercoats, simple solid colours are cheap! so around £40 I think he charges! that's shotblasted and powdercoated! Jjosland
That sounds pretty good to me. I'll buy one and get it done when I see one. Was just reading about adding a cold air feed to my box, and where would be the best place to fix the cold snorkel?
SLEEMAN
have you got air con? if not you can buy a universal feed from your box directly down to your front bumper!
Jjosland
Yeah I do have air con, does that limit me on what I can do?
SLEEMAN
it will be a tighter squeeze maybe as I done it without aircon through a gap between the front panel and radiator. you could incorporate the standard intake and fix it to the bottom of the bumper with the cold air feed pipe.
