Wire identify

Any body know what this does? Was disconnected when i removed the panel, just wondering as I cant remember what it was for!?

I think it's airbag related but not entirely sure what.

Yeah, I agree with wheelerDealers.

 

It's either attaches to the clock spring of the steering wheel air bag or in other direction, runs behind dash to passenger side, along inner sill and to the passenger side seat belt pretensioner.

 

Unplugged like that air bag warning light should be flashing.

To prevent accidental airbag deployment, it's advised to disconnect the car battery for at least 10 mins to allow Airbag Restraint System to de-energise before disconnecting any connectors.

 

Ensure radio code is available when disconnecting battery.
