Evening all. im looking to purchase some powerflex bushes all round this evening but im a little stuck.

So I've checked the front wishbones and I know that I need to order the 46mm's front and rear, Im ordering the front anti role bar bushes which are only one fitment, but there are 2 part numbers for the rear beam bushes and each pack has 2 bushes in them, but doesn't tell me if they're different sizes or anything..... so do I need one of each part number (4 bushes in total) or do I just need 1 set (2 bushes)? and how do I know which set I need?.... thanks in advance

here's the link for the order page if it helps :-)

Wow sorry I'm such an idiot... i've scrolled down the page only to find a Notes section which tells me which bush pack I need for the rear beam for the year of my car. :nutter:

I've received these bushes for my lower arms... I'm slightly confused as the set on the right (front bushes) have spacers with them, but the set on the left (rear bushes) don't....

I've already had problems with the delivery of these parts and had to send a wrong package back so before I send an arsey email followed by a phone call in the morning, can anybody confirm that the rear bushes require these spacers too? Many thanks! :thumb:

Have you read the fitting destructions?

They're pitiful! Its a crappy picture that shows you how to remove the old bushes and then simply explains that you need to press the new bushes in.... no mention of the spacers in either package...

Id maybe take a wishbone off and look at the ones on the car now. I wouldnt be surprised if they are slightly different as they sit in different positions. If ones has a similar looking sleeve and the other hasnt then you'll know and jobs a good un'.

The fronts look right, not so sure on the back. I can't see how the bolt is going to go about holding onto the centre sleeve. Then again, it's been sometime since i looked at an Escort beam.

That's why I think they're missing... im no mechanic but surely if the bolts cant pinch that centre sleave without the spacers then surely the wishbone rear bushes are just gonna be loose?

Either that or if you was to pinch it all up without the spacers then surely there would be no movement in the bushings OR its just going to damage it all...

Either way ive sent an email and I'll be swiftly following with a phone call in the morning. Thanks all for your replies!
