malfis
Hello guys, anyone done this transform? I bought mk5 recaros and want them to mk6 escort... Runners are totaly different, mk5 wont fit into mk6 shell, so it will need modify neither them or implement mk6 runners onto mk5 seats, but also modify height adjust and lenght adjust... SLEEMAN
if you can find some fiesta mk3.5 seat runners then swap them over and they will fit then!
malfis
What is fiesta 3.5? I know only mark 3 and 4. And those runners fit onto mk5 (not mk5b!) and on mk6 floor? )
SLEEMAN
3.5 is basically when the fiesta was made as an Si with a zetec 1.6 rather the XR2i, that would be a mk3.5 I think its around 93 onwards I think! not sure if escort mk5b ones would fit the recaro sit but worth a shot though? malfis
And those 3.5 runnes fit to Mk6 body shell?
dalelc16
I have fitted escort cosworth seats in my mk6. I took the runners of and drilled the rivets out which holds the brackets to the floor and moved the brackets around the rails until the seat was level . I don't know if the cosworth rails are the same as mk5 as the escort sits on a diffrent chassis.
