St170 block

the st170 bottom end is like a standard 2.0 blacktop bottom end, but with forged internals and high compression pistons, I think I know what you are trying to do, you wanting to increase the compression ratio a cheaper way? i'm not entirely sure that a silvertop 1.8 head will work, I know it works for a silvertop 2.0 bottom end and silvertop head 1.8, but because of the modified internals I think valve clearance will be an issue. personally I would just modify the st170 head and make it flow better and remove the vvt. expensive yes but probably worth it.
