escort si
Whenever i take my face off my headunit the next time i put it back on none of the buttons work. Only one that works is the eject button for the cd, and then when i eject the cd all the buttons work again except it means the cd is back to beginning again. Never used to be like this. Getting very fcuking annoying. Especially when you have a cd on like dj marks where it is all played as a set, and every time i park and take face off it goes back to beginning again. Any one know what the cause of this is? I've tried reseting it but no good. Just started doing this recently. Have i pressed something which has programmed it to do it? The head unit is Sony cdx-ca600. Thanks!

Jordan
Im no techy but the connectors on face-off stereos can get kinda worn over time, I know that my pioneer one occasionly stops working but a quick tap on it and its back Also, my brother got a Sony head unit and it was faulty to begin with so he sent it back and got it replaced Jordan

Jordan
Ah right, im with ya now! Dunno what the problem is though I know that on my personal CD player theres a little switch called "resume" or somethin, if you switch it "on" then the CD will resume from the place that u stopped it. If you switch it "off" then the CD will play from the start again. I cant see that a car stereo would be the same but might be worth looking through your manual for similar settings? Dunno mate tbh.
